Sneak Peeks - Making it extra special:
We like to ask families if they would like to write a little paragraph to go along with their sneak peek when it is posted to our social media, this just helps to make it a little more personalised and special for your family.
You may like to write something about how much you love your little ones, how they have changed your life, how your family came to be or even a little poem or story. You may like to talk about your relationships, your pregnancy journey, or how excited you are to meet your newest little family member. A birthday wish or Christmas tradition can also make a nice little caption to go along with your images.
Below are a few examples for you to have a look at. We ask that if you would like to write something special that you please get it to us prior to your session and you can just send us a message or email with your little caption. Please see some examples below.

"Jess and Grant met 11 years ago, and have been married for nearly 6 years. They have travelled all over the world and have their gorgeous fur baby Shadow.
For their 5th anniversary they travelled to Bali and decided they would give Shadow a baby brother or sister. They were fortunate enough to be blessed quickly and welcomed Serena in early August 2019. At 4 days old Serena had to go back into hospital with infection, and spent the next week there, much to Jess and Grant's dismay! Baby / Sitter / Children
Meet Joshua Jones and his little brother Jordan Jones. These two beautiful boys belong to the proud parents of Megan and Brendan Jones.
Joshua became a big brother in May 2019 and straight away shared a special bond with Jordan. Megan and Brendan are very grateful that they have been blessed with such beautiful blue eyed boys and adore the perfect little family they have created. - Megan |
"Josh and I have been together since we were 16. Meeting the love of your life that young, we didn't think we'd have another love in our lives.
We had to wait a while for our baby, but she was worth it. Athena is the perfect addition to our family. She brings us more joy, more laughter and such an overwhelming love into our family. "Our Zacky came into our lives at just the right time. He has brought us so much joy happiness and laughter into our lives. He has completed our family, after waiting 20 years for him to come along our family went from 3 to 4. 'When Frankie was first born, he was a spitting image of his Grandpa (which made that first breastfeeding experience kinda awkward!). Now that Frankie is almost 8 months old, he is starting to look like a mini version of his Dad and I just think he is the cutest thing ever!"

Before your shoot:
It is a great idea to have a talk about your session and what it will look like with your kids and as a family before you arrive. Talk to them using my name "Emma" and talk to them like I am your best friend "We are going to see Emma at her studio and we are going to have so much fun and get out photos taken!" The more relaxed you are the more excited the kids will be to get in and have some fun. We have some phots on our About Us page and the videos above can also be useful for them to get to know me and put their minds at ease about coming to meet me.
Please make sure that your children are as well rested and feed as possible and I know that this is easier said than done. You may like to bring along some snacks and water bottles (especially if you have a newborn session). We ask that you try and stick to clean foods that wont make their faces, hands and outfits all dirty. Many parents also find that a little bribe or reward for doing a fantastic job during our session can also go a long way. You are also welcome to bring along comforters, favourites toys or blankets etc to help them feel at ease and comfortable through our session.
During your shoot - capturing that love and connection:
We are all about capturing your connections and moments of love between you and your family, hence our name "Moments of Love Photography". As much as yes we do want to get a photo with everyone looking at the camera we also love the special moments you share together and this generally comes from touch, weather it's a little kiss on the foreheads, a tickle, a push back of the hair, holding hands and playing with the kids to make them laugh. We highly recommend you be yourself and let us just capture you being you, I mean that is what you are here for right!
If you are having an outdoor session we ask that you please dress appropriately for the temperature. Things are not fun if we are too cold or too hot. Sometimes the weather can be an issue. We try to leave it as close as possible to reschedule your session as we like to go ahead when we can. If the weather is looking like it isn't going to play nice we will contact you to organise another date.
We know an appreciate that a lot goes into get ready for a photo shoot and we hope that you can be relaxed as possible and enjoy the experience with us. The more fun and love you show towards each other the more it will shine through in your photos.
