About Us
Hello, my name is Emma and I am the girl behind the camera at
Moments of Love Photography.
My love for photos all started at a young age when my aunty bought me my first camera for Christmas when I was in grade 4. From then on I loved taking snaps of my friends and family. As I grew into a teenager my walls and cupboard doors in my bedroom became covered with photos of beautiful memories and not so 'beautiful' ones, which were updated every few months. My boyfriend then gave me my first dslr camera for my birthday one year and the photos continued to be snapped, but definitely improved in quality.
Since getting married and now having three children of our own, my love for photography has continued to grow and has become more of a hobby. I just love capturing the special times in our lives, especially of our daughter Georgia and sons Cooper and Harrison, as they are just growing up way too fast for our liking.
As a mum of three little ones I know how fast they grow, especially in those first few years and as much as you think I will always remember this age or this stage of their lives unfortunately our memories do fade (generally due to the sleep deprivation) and often time rolls into one and all of a sudden somehow you have a 6 year old and you think where did my tiny newborn go?! And because they grown so fast it is so so important to capture them just being who they are, to snap a beautiful kiss between mum and bubs or that special smile that only dad can seem to be able to get and of course the bond that only siblings can share. These are all gorgeous relationships that grown and change and we love to be able to freeze just some of those special moments for you and capture them for you to treasure. We believe that when it comes to love forever isn't long enough, and we are here to capture Moments of Love to treasure as photographs forever.
And here we are now, after a little push and encouragement from a close friend, we have our own little photography business. I have always taken photos of our three little munchkins and of course once my God Son came along it was no different with him. His mum showed her mother’s group some of his photos and the word spread. I had a number of mums then contact me to take photos of their little ones and one of them asked me if I had a Facebook page, to which I replied no – I don’t have a business!...Two weeks later Moments of Love Photography was born.
Prior to starting our little family business I was a primary school teacher and absolutely love working with kids. Once having our babies I went on maternity leave to have time at home and was ready for a new adventure and while photography was always a hobby I always wanted it to be something more. So my husband and I went all in and have never looked back.
I am self taught and still have so much to learn, but with every new experience and every new photo session I learn a little bit more. My husband Chris, is the most supportive man I have ever met and I am so lucky to have him working alongside me to make our business all that it can be.
Moments of Love Photography offers affordable and unique photos for pregnancy, newborns, babies, children, cake smashes and families. As our name suggests, we aim to capture the moments of love between your family and loved ones with warmth and professionalism to treasure forever. These moments deserved to be captured and preserved so the memory lives on forever. When it comes to love, forever really isn’t long enough and it is our mission to give you high quality memories of these moments that you deserve.
If you are just like me and want to capture those beautiful and precious memories in your life or you just want to update that family photo that is sitting on the buffet, but don't want to spend a fortune, then look no further. We are open to trying new things and different locations, so please discuss with us any ideas you may have.
