Maternity Styling Guide
Please bring along with you:
- At least 1 beautiful matching bra and knickers set
- Strapless bra (white or black if possible or a light and dark colour)
- White and black underwear
- Black and white bra
- 1-2 Nice fitted dresses to show off your belly. Please do not bring loose fitted dresses we want the focus to be on your belly
Florals and patterns look fantastic and also do whites, beige, black and lace. You can see our Pinterest Board for some inspiration.
Your wardrobe should be free of logos, pictures and writing please.

Please ensure that you bring the top items mentioned above. Also please refer to our Pinterest Board as it has loads of ideas to help you select clothing that will look good for you shoot. We have a variety of maternity dresses and outfits available for you to use during your session as well. These special dresses are made especially for photography and will look great in your photos. Fitted and cropped tops and little over the shoulder tops and off the shoulder tops are great for showing off your belly also. We ask that you please make sure you don't have a hair tie around your wrist during your session

Also be sure to bring plain T-shirts in solid colours such as grey, black or white and please avoid any logos as they can look tacky in photos. You can see our Pinterest Board for inspiration. They’ll be barefoot, so no need to look for clean shoes. Please make sure their eyes, nose, finger and toenails are clean and groomed

Hair & Make Up
Make -up should be classic and clean. However your foundation can be quite thick as this photographs well and helps us to smooth out your skin in post-processing. Finger and toenails groomed. Lotion and lip balm will help with close-ups.
Hair the same - loose is best. Have your hair either straightened or curled/waved depending on your style. Please make sure that everyone's nails are clean and trimmed as we often do close ups of your hands on your gorgeous belly
