Newborn Checklist
- Wash baby’s hair and apply moisturiser if needed on dry skin and dress them in a zip up or button up suit (which doesn't need to be taken off over their head) without a singlet or socks, to help reduce leaving creases and marks on the baby and unsettling them on arrival
- Please try to keep baby awake prior to your session, so that they are nice and sleepy for us
- Feed your baby just before you leave home. A full baby will be a more settled baby and allow us to capture those squishy photos we are after
- You will need to demand feed baby throughout the session, so if bottle feeding please make sure you bring extra, as they may feed more than normal
- Please also bring a dummy, even if you are not using one, it may be enough to help settle them into a pose without having to pick them up and start all over again
- Stick with neutral colours with your outfits such as; creams, whites, lattes, browns, greys and blacks. Try to complement each other but not necessary to wear a simple matching tshirt type top. Please no logos or bold patterns. We suggest to bring a change of clothes for all involved in the session just incase an accident occurs. It will also be warm in the studio so please keep that in mind when deciding what to wear
- Don’t forget to bring some snacks and a drink for your family as well, as the session will take a few hours
- Please let us know of any issues such as reflux etc you may be having and please advise us of any colours or themse you would like to use prior to your session so we can be best prepared
